David believes that questioning everything is important in being a great problem solver. He enjoys playing basketball and understands the demand that sports have on the body.
David's approach focuses on breaking down, from head to toe, what is positively and negatively affecting your movement. He specializes in the assessment and treatment of the musculoskeletal, orthopaedic, and nervous systems. Optimal movement can be complicated, so he intends to simplify and empower you with everything you need to know to make your life better.
David looks forward to meeting you and working with you to provide you with an outstanding physiotherapy experience!
Sophie Zhang
Registered Physiotherapist, MSc. PT
In addition to working at rehab8, Sophie also works at the hospital to help patients improve their mobility.
Sophie enjoys working and helping patients recovery from their acute injuries, whether it is a sprained ankle, strained back, or post-operative rehab. She also has experience working with post-partum women and women's health. Her approach is to work side by side with you to ensure your recovery is complete from start to finish.
In her spare time, Sophie enjoys hiking and trying out new recipes in the kitchen.


Dunlin Zhang
Registered Physiotherapist, MSc. PT
Registered Acupuncterist, R. Ac
Dunlin graduated with a Master of Science degree in physiotherapy from McMaster University in 2006, after his completion of medicine and pathophysiology degrees in China. Since 2006, Dunlin has worked as a physiotherapist in a range of healthcare settings such as acute care, rehabilitation hospitals, and private clinics. His clinical experiences include treating people with musculoskeletal and neurological conditions, sports-related injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, work place injuries, motor vehicle accident recoveries, and more.
Dunlin is also a registered acupuncturist. He uses a combination of modalities in his treatments including manual therapy, acupuncture, therapeutic ultrasound, transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS), low level laser therapy, spinal decompression, shockwave therapy and exercise prescriptions. He provides individualized programs that assist and speed up his clients’ recovery processes. Dunlin’s treatments are hands-on and outcome oriented. He enjoys working with people of all ages and is committed to providing the highest level of professional care.


Wenli Wei
Chiropodist, D. Ch, MSc. OT
Wenli graduated with a Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Toronto, and a graduate advanced diploma in Chiropody from the Michener Institute, after the completion of a Medicine and a Pharmacology degree in China. Since 2001, Wenli has been working in the University of Toronto research lab, St John’s Rehab Hospital, VHA Rehab Solution, community health centers, and private clinics in Toronto.
As a Chiropodist, Wenli has a passion in treating patients with various foot conditions. She believes that the health of one’s feet is the foundation to the health of the entire body. Wenli’s specialized interest lies with treating various biomechanical issues of the foot and providing orthotic therapy to relief foot, knee, and back pain.
